Our Grab Lorry Fleet
We undertake jobs with small loads, and those in areas with restricted space, using a mini grab. For most collections, however, LTS Grab Hire dispatches an 8-wheel grab lorry with a 16-tonne load capacity. These waste removals are usually of an intermediate to larger size and may require us to make more than one collection, but this will still be faster and more cost-effective than having to hire multiple skips or, worse still, waiting for new containers to arrive.
An 8-wheel grab lorry has a length of 9m, so it isn’t always possible to park up next to your waste materials at residential properties situated in small roads or narrow lanes, or at worksites with limited access or traffic restrictions.
The hydraulic arm on a grab lorry has a 7.6m reach.
This means that LTS Grab Hire can still collect full waste loads in a difficult-to-access area. In fact, the hydraulic arm has sufficient reach to collect waste that you have stored behind fences, walls and perimeter hoardings.
